Looking back for the past 7 years with my current company, I'm not progressing well. I believed I have contributed to my best but was not being recognized by my bosses(they all had resigned). I have taken the opportunity to be posted to Vietnam 2 years ago. Hope that by changing to a new boss and environment plus my efforts on developing the business in Vietnam and lost 60% of my family life, I will be able to justify and move to the next level in my career path. As the saying go, I should not have high expectation and demand. I should also lookout for other opportunity in the region as well. In life, there is always up and down and I should stay positive and be happy what the god have given me, my lovely family and friends around.
Cheers!!!

U gain some, u lose some, this is Murphy's law. But if u're sacrificing family time to move up the corporate ladder, then u should have some expectations, or else, your sacrifices come to naught.
Sorry to say this, but what u deem as "best efforts" may not be defined as so by your bosses. Therefore, wouldn't it be better if u have a meeting/discussion with them on your career prospects/path? This will clear a lot of doubts and of course u will know for sure, where u're heading.
